I'm a little late on this review as I forgot to post before we left the other night when my thoughts were still fresh. However, when everything was good like it was you can easily remember that. The Strawberry Henny Margarita was good as well as the Golden Lemon Drop & Hey Red Lip cocktails that my wife ordered. All of the food we ordered was delicious. I must point out that lots of places have the egg rolls as apps on their menu but this Harold's is the first spot I've seen split three rolls as opposed to just two. Six halves is just so much more fulfilling than four. For entrees, I had the turkey burger and it was crispy on its exterior and soft and moist on the inside. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. Only negative is the honey hot wings from my wife had an after taste that was a tad too salty as if they were a little heavy handed during the prep of the chicken. The wings were still fried to perfection, crispy and wet though. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. There are TVs across from the tables with plenty of views for my sports fans. The interior decor was beautiful and you notice it upon walking in. The waitress we had was very attentive and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back. For those looking for a good lounge on the East Side, I definitely recommend you trying Harold's. (This location has a bigger and more varied menu than the OG locations so that's a plus.)

I had a pleasant experience at Harold’s on a wednesday (karaoke night). Our server Jasmine was very attentive and was always there when we needed her. On another note the food was mid. I don’t know how to explain it but the devil eggs tasted more like potato salad and the jerk egg rolls were dry and lacked flavor. The salmon pasta was the best thing I had and I will definitely be back for that! Also they add 20% gratuity on every check.

This place is new to the area. Mature crowd. Had 6 wings tossed in buffalo sauce (I recommend getting the sauce on the side), comes with fries. Food and drink rices are reasonable. Seats are comfortable. Atmosphere is grown. Dominique is awesome, sociable and friendly. She makes great drinks too.

First of all, the ambiance is a whole vibe. This is the grown and sexy Harold’s. Second the service was top notch. Juice provided excellent service and deserves a raise. The food was delicious and the service was fast. You have to try this place…. BTW, you have to eat your chicken Chicago style, salt pepper hot sauce and mild sauce….

We have gotten take out 2 times from here. This was our 1st time sitting down and eating on location. The fried chicken is AMAZING! My husband loves white meat chicken. He says this chicken was well seasoned and juicy. I had macaroni and cheese, candied yams, and collard greens. The greens are cooked with turkey. All the sides were delicious!!! I LOVE the red beans and rice. I have NEVER had any before because it's made with pork sausage theirs is made with chicken sausage. Our server, Juice was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were able to be seated when we came in at 6:15pm on a Monday evening. We will be back to dine in and have take out.

Came here the other night for a chill night out. When we arrived, the wait was about 15 minutes for a table, but they had two bars so we were able to get drinks and sit there while we waited on our table but decided to eat our meals there as well since we liked the chairs at the bar better, very comfy. For appetizers we had the Salmon dip which came with homemade pita chips that were delicious. For drinks we ordered the Red Lips and the drink was very well made and sweet. For entrees we got the 4 piece wings with fries, fried okra and Mac n cheese. The food was great and we enjoyed ourselves. Our Bartender/ Server Janie was very sweet and made sure we had all we needed. Parking was $10, but we did appreciate valet escorting us to and from our car in the rain with umbrellas which was a nice touch and made the valet price well worth it. Harold’s is a great spot to stop by when you want a chill night out with good foods and vibes.

Born and reared 46yr in ChiSouthside, I'm always on the lookout for hometown food. Not just chitown dogs and pizza puff. Staples like Harolds Chicken and hopefully Portillos one day Whoever decided to have the entrance on an angle was genius. The outside the color is very simple and elegant. I knew the inside has got to be banging!!. I was not wrong. Y'ALL know the piece that JJ painted shown in opening credits of Good Times??. Chicago artist Earnie Barnes! I'm excited now I'll get to the food soon... I was greeted by two of the ladies of the wait staff. Niama show me to my table but failed to inform and wait staff that I was there. The decor was very modern and classy. Beautiful spirits line the walls And I would like to talk about the blue glass to keep vibes clean in the establishment . The bathroom, 3 stall one handicap accessable, were well maintained did not have any paper towel but did have a nice air hand dryer. Beautiful well stocked bar in the rear. $25 hookahs specials cuz it's still Atl-ish. The music was still very loud like on Edgewood but more space so I didn't have to yell as loud. They were playing a mix of trap music and r& b.The seating in center nearest the wall across from DJ booth(yes DJ on some days)bar had the tables which had the patent leather booth on one side,,don't wear shorts and sit there. Mine didn't stick too bad, and chair on the other side of table . It was a very hot day the temperature was very comfortable in there The first bar area restaurant was almost filled with casually dressed men and a few women sprinkled here and there. If I had to guess I would say the average age was between 40 and 70. I'm in that middle and was digging the vibes. I was shown to my table however because they were doing a shift change I didn't receive a server. Once I got the attention of someone just walking past after I've sat there for a while I was told that no one knew who my server was. Two servers were there looking puzzled and then one of the, Tiara, volunteered but she didn't look too happy about it. The rest of her service was lack luster and I kinda felt like a nuisance to her. There was another server I believe his name is Hershel whose hair was braided going back in a ponytail. He stepped right in when I needed help when Tiara was busy. I really appreciate him. That could have gone much smoother with better communication during shift change. The Art in there The huge picture with a woman with a ice necklace and a bar metal going through it. That was genius. The floating box lighting very artistic. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the restaurant. Now for the food review. The short version.. the chicken was delicious and tasted like home. the fries were very "ok".The mild sauce was good but a little different that what I remembered. The macaroni was also good however it was a lot of thick cheese on top but not much within the noodles. The greens look beautiful but lacked tenderness and flavor. The jerk egg rolls were not horrible but not great I will not get them again. The portions were a very nice size and prices wasn't bad at all!! Ms Tarryn and the team, did a great job. Oh yes there was a gentleman with a beard that I believe was a manager because he spoke to a group of women & joked around with them a little. They were seated in the center. A Party of about 5 however ignored anyone that was dinning solo. He even brought them their food. He could benefit from some additional customers service training. All in all I would absolutely recommend this sisters establishment and return with family/friends. I now know what area to sit on, what time to come, and what to try on menu next. I might mess around and get a hookah next time.
